Matthew West - 'Don't Stop Praying' (Official Video)

5x GRAMMY® nominee Matthew West kicks off fresh encouragement to fans with the release of anthemic new track “Don’t Stop Praying.” Penned by West and writer Jeff Pardo, the inspiring new tune serves as a refreshing reminder to not lose faith and continue to turn to Jesus.

"Every year I land on a personal theme that becomes a mission statement for my own faith journey,” shares West. “This year’s theme is don’t stop praying.  We’ve all been to a place where discouragement can make us wonder if God really hears our prayers.  I wrote this song for anybody who’s ever felt like giving up or losing their faith.  I couldn’t be more excited to start the new year off with this new song.  I hope it encourages anyone who hears it to join me in a commitment to prayer in 2024.  Pray for our families, for our friends, for our enemies, for our nation, for our world.  God hears the prayers of his people, so don’t stop praying.”

“The response to this new song has been overwhelming,” shares West. “I’ve already heard incredible stories of how the message of this song is a timely one for so many people who are facing a trial right now. Now, I’m so excited to share this powerful new video with the world and hopefully reach even more people with the reminder not to give up and always remember there is power in a prayer.”

"Don't Stop Praying" Lyrics:

What’s your impossible
Your “I need a miracle”
What’s got you barely hanging by a single thread
What looks so hopeless now
What weighs down your heart with doubt
You beg for a breakthrough but no sign of breakthrough yet

When you’ve cried and you’ve cried til your tears run dry
The answer won’t come and you don’t know why
And you wonder if you can bow your head even one more time

Don’t stop praying
Don’t stop calling on Jesus name
Keep on pounding on heaven’s door
Let your knees wear out the floor
Don’t stop believing
‘Cause mountains move with just a little faith
And your Father’s heard every single word you’re saying
So, don’t stop praying

He’s close to the brokenhearted
Saves those who are crushed in spirit
The Alpha and Omega knows how your story ends

When you’ve cried and you’ve cried til your tears run dry
The answer won’t come and you don’t know why
And you wonder if you can bow your head even one more time
Oh, do it one more time

And don’t stop praying
Don’t stop calling on Jesus name
Keep on pounding on heaven’s door
Let your knees wear out the floor
Don’t stop believing
‘Cause mountains move with just a little faith
And your Father’s heard every single word you’re saying
So, don’t stop praying

(Don’t stop don’t stop praying)
Oh
(Don’t stop don’t stop praying)
Oh, don’t stop praying
(Don’t stop don’t stop praying)
Oh (Oh)

Don’t stop praying for the prodigal
Don’t stop praying for the miracle
Hallelujah, hallelujah and amen
Don’t stop praying that addictions end
Don’t stop praying for deliverance
Hallelujah, hallelujah and amen
Oh, don’t stop praying for the sickness healed
Don’t stop praying for His power revealed
Hallelujah, hallelujah and amen
No, don’t stop praying for the kingdom come
Don’t stop praying that his will be done
Hallelujah, hallelujah and amen

Don’t stop praying
Don’t stop calling on Jesus name
Keep on pounding on heaven’s door
Let your knees wear out the floor
Don’t stop believing
‘Cause mountains move with just a little faith
And your Father’s heard every single word you’re saying
So, don’t stop praying

(Don’t stop don’t stop praying)
(Don’t stop don’t stop praying)
Oh, don’t stop praying
(Don’t stop don’t stop praying)
Don’t you give up now (Oh)
No, don’t stop praying
