Dawn, our wonder woman, is the Morning Show. She brings lots of laughs, quirks & interesting tidbits along the way. What could be better? Dawn's heart for the Lord & wonderful voice is always a pleasure. And it’s only here on 95.5 The Fish!
Current Career: Dawn is a media personality on the radio, TV, Web & in written resources. Daily she’s the Morning Show on The FISH, 95.5 FM live every weekday morning from 5 am to 9 am.
Dawn is also a “free agent” communicator – freelance writing, editing & a lot of speaking. From preaching at churches to conducting seminars for corporations, she’s spoken at Bible colleges, high schools, chapels, businesses, community events & anywhere she can! Dawn is an accomplished emcee & speaker in any venue.
Personal Background: Born in Tonga (So. Pacific), Dawn was later raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. She started working for Pastor Wayne Cordeiro at New Hope Hilo in 1988, but moved to Honolulu to complete her Master’s in Speech (1997). After teaching at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she took a position at New Hope O‘ahu assisting Pastor Wayne with written resources & co-hosting the TV talk show, Connecting Point. She also made consistent appearances on Tiny TV. She’s done full-time radio since June 2007.
Dawn is a Wonder Woman wanna-be with a dynamic, passionate style that hits head on with hard-hitting issues – including sex, media & dangerous faith. She currently attends First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dan Chun.
