(11/9/2011 6:19:12 AM) I am thankful tha I am able to get out of bed every day and go and do what I want to or need to do. I know people who don't have this option. I have a wonderful pastor who loves and leads his congregation in very posiive way. |

(11/23/2010 9:37:11 AM) I am 20 years old and have the greatest parents in the world!! I have 3 sisters and a brother and we were all adopted by angels!! When I was 7 years old, my biological mother died of cervical cancer. After this tragic incident, our biological father remarried and began drinking. He was in and out of prison for a long time. While he was in jail, our stepmother abused us everyday. Remaining close to each other was the only thing that helped us get through since the oldest of us was twelve and the yougest was only 2 at the time. Finally on Christmas day one year, our step mother gave out father an ultimatum. She told him either we had to leave or she was and belive it or not..he chose her and her two children over us. We were kicked out with no where to go on Christmas!! We went from foster home to foster home and it is only by the grace of God that we were not split up. Finally we started going to a church where the love of God was very evident and immediately felt that there is where we belonged. Our pastor and his lovely wife fell in love with us and we fell in love with them as well. They adopted us 2 years later!! Here it is almost 10 years later and we have never felt so loved!! In this life we take many things for granted but in our family, the words "family" and "I love you" are not words that are taken lightly. We are truly blessed to be in a family that loves us for exactly who we are and who treat us like their own..much like the love of God! |

I have been blessed with a wonderful church family at Eagle Pointe Church in Acworth, GA one that supports me in my failures and knows that everyone falls sometimes. Thanks to my church family and Jesus I was saved this year and I'm truly understanding that God's grace isn't just for anyone it's for EVERYONE. |
